This Wild Thing hides out two and a half miles from the trailhead parking lot, along the Alamo Springs trail. Expect a fair amount of climbing to get there - my GPSr recorded an increase in altitude of about 1000 feet.

By agreement with the city of Marana, no permit is needed to hike the trails, but to leave the trail, as is necessary to find this cache, it is best to have a permit.
The State Land Department has no problem with this activity, but we ask that participants know the following:
