"L'inconnue de la Seine", the unknown Woman of the Seine

In the 1880s, a dead body of a young woman was pulled out of the river Seine, Paris France, at the area, Quai du Louvre. 

The unknown dead body showed no sign of violence, and suicide was suspected.

The pathologist at the Paris Morgue was so taken by her beaty that he made a death mask of her face

When the first aid mannequin, 'Resusci Anne', was made in 1958. The face of the unknown Woman of the Seine was used as the head of the CPR doll.
