Come and meet other local cachers, have a brew, and a slice of cake or two, and a chat about our geocaching adventures! Family friendly in a lovely town with a number of caches and nice scenery.
Flask mob? What's one of those then?
It's basically a slightly sad pun, but I thought it would be great if, instead of having a meet in a pub or a coffee shop (lovely though those are) we could have a low key, do-it-yourself, bring your drink in a flask event.
Geocaching is all about getting outside in the great outdoors for fun and fresh air. The first Flask Mob showed just how fresh that air could be, but hopefully here, Spring will have sprung, and the Suffolk weather and countryside will be at its best. However, the event will still go on even if the weather is inclement, so bring your flask, a woolly blanket, your waterproofs and your sense of adventure for a tea party on the quayside!
The meeting point for the event by Orford Quay. Come and meet other local cachers for a hot drink (bring your own, please) and a slice of cake (Bee will be bringing some to share, but you are welcome to bring some too) and a chat about our geocaching adventures. Family friendly in a town with plenty of parking nearby. There are lots of things to see and do!
The location is wheelchair and pushchair accessible, and adjacent to an existing geocache.
There will be a container for discovering and swapping trackables and if you want to make a day of it, there are plenty of excellent caches nearby. Hopefully the timing will suit both early birds and later risers!
