#4 Routes to the River Tone - Brick Eating Tree Traditional Cache

Goodland gardens was once part of the fulling (wool cleaning) mill. Goodlands gardens is a lovely green space near the centre of Taunton. The green spaces beside Taunton’s waterways form an important wildlife corridor offering birds, minibeasts and animals all they need to live side by side with people . A wildlife corridor not only offers shelter , food, water and warmth but also connects areas so that wildlife can move from one green space to another and into the open countryside. This is a great spot to see otters, water voles and other wildlife. Look out for the brick eating tree which shows us the position of a wall of the mill long since demolished.The cache is not hidden on the tree itself, but nearby.
