Geocache Description:

The Village of Kerry lies only a couple of miles into Wales from its border with England. For many it is just a place to pass through on their journey through Mid Wales en-route to the coast. This area is actually a caching hotspot, the area does have magnificent views, especially so if you travel away from the main roads and more so if you head for higher ground.

A little walk around the village! Coordinates are the car park so that is a good place to start. You can obviously walk whatever route you like between the different stages, the preferred though I suggest would be: Head towards the main road and on your right you will find A. History Board Walk past the pub and turn right into Common Road, you will find B. Village Information Board on the right by the village hall. Turn back around and you will pass C. Water Pump which is recessed back a little to the right of the path. Keep going back to the main road and turn right, in sight will be D. Phone Box which is on the other side of the road (since removed D =7). Turn back on yourself and to your right is Nook Lane, by the concrete bollard low down you will find E. Bench Mark. Stick to the main road and head towards the village square and you will then see to your right F. War Memorial. Enter the church yard and follow the main path to the church entrance where you will see G. Weather Vane. Turn to your right and you can follow a small path that leads towards a side metal gate that leads into Nook Lane. Turn left and take the immediate left to cemetery where H. Kerry Cemetery sign is to your right. Go through the entrance gate (dodgy handle so reach through) and head down the path which actually leads back into Nook Lane. At the point of the path when there are trees and shrubs on both sides you will see a bench to your left which was placed new in early 2016. Leave the path by the bench and head towards the hedge. One of the graves adjacent to the hedge is that of Denise Whale, my wife, also known within the caching community as ccrevell and well known by many who will be striving to find this cache. She would appreciate me using her name and pointing out her final resting place in further pursuite of this great hobby! Many of our friends will no doubt stop for 'a chat' and pay their respects. When at this location you will find both I. and J. Vase Holder. Why not take advantage of that bench to sit and work out the FINAL COORDINATES at N52 IC.HAD W003 GB.EJF Good luck! NOTE The final is not on a public path and it HAS been placed with the landowners permission ie you have permission to access land specifically for finding the cache. The route you have taken should put you in good stead to find your way back to your transport. Hope you enjoy this multi!
