This is a combination of Mobcache and Intercache.
You cannot complete this geocache without multiple internet enabled devices.
To commence the adventure you will need at least 2 people in your mob, both with the following
- A smartphone or similar device with location and web browsing capabilities
- An app to read a QR code
- Plenty of battery life
- Some data allowance
To begin you will all need to gather at the posted co-ordinates with your devices.
Once your mob has three devices ready to go, you will all need to carry out the below instructions on your respective devices:
- Navigate to https://geotrailsw.com/mob/ on your browser.
- Verify that the accuracy displayed is reasonable (hopefully less than 3m or so.)
- When asked which mob you're attending, enter 1844.
- On the next screen, the system will tell you how many of the devices have connected.
- To connect, a device will need to be within 10 meters of the given starting co-ordinates of this cache.
- Once the counter is up to the required number of connected devices, the app will display the instructions for you to follow.
Much of the fun of a mobcache is from coming together as a group of friends and strangers to form new friendships on the way to the cache. Make sure you have a good laugh with your new friends along the way.
The difficulty rating of 2.5 is based on the fact that some geocachers may be a little technologically challenged
