Leap Day 2016. A great time to go geocaching and the last chance to find caches on this day for four more years. This cache will give everyone the opportunity to find a nice easy cache hidden on the 29 February.
Te Atatu North is a promontory that sticks out into the inner Waitemata Harbour. I have been out here geocaching a couple of times in the past year. I was looking for a place to hide a cache on 29 February and this small but nicely maintained park near the sea provided that opportunity. The first cache was hidden under the flax but must have got muggled by enthusiastic gardeners. Now replaced by a pill container with camo cover. Its not far from the original hiding spot. Should be easy to find with the hint. Lots of houses look onto this park. You can search under cover of the trees or from the path. Whatever happens there wont be another chance to hide a cache on this date for "Four More Years".
