Eby's Mill Wildlife Area CITO Cache In Trash Out® Event

Looking to clean up the South East side of Eby's Mill Wildlife Area, also know as the GOLD Trail. The hike should take about 5 hours to complete and will involve some ups and downs. We will leave the parking area at 9:00 am and return around 2:00 pm. Anyone interested in collecting this smiley can come out for the recommended 1 hour time, you do not have to stay for the entire 5 hours.

This Cache In Trash Out event will includes stops at the GOLD Series geocaches number 20 - 40. We may be stopping by to explore the cave on this property which is along our planned route. It was part of an archaeological dig done by members of the archaeology department at the University of Iowa and volunteers. They discovered shards of pottery dating back some 1500 years during their excavation in the cave. Please bring water and snacks if you plan on making the entire journey and a flash light if you intend to explore the cave.
