This is part of the Marjory Harris Carr Cross Florida Grennway, Silver Springs Connector Trail. You will have to start at the bridge end and hike west. You are searching for a small tethered lock n lock in an obvious location. This trail is about 1.5 miles from end to end. If you chose to follow the entire trail, be ready to see some real Florida. The trail can get muddy at times but is a good trail to follow. You will encounter ticks, mosquitos and if you're lucky some of the other wildlife like deer, raccoon and maybe even a wild hog. The visitor center and parking lot area is closed here. To get to the geocache, you're going to have to hike from the other end and this would be the last one you would find on the trail before turning back around and heading back to the Ocklawaha River entrance to this trail.
