This cache has been archived.

surreptitious007: Unfortunately, there are just too many muggles around. Talking to each other, waiting for taxis - always someone watching.

Sadly, decided to archive this cache.

Geocache Description:

This geocache is of significant historical interest. It is one of many way-markers along the route traveled by Sir Percy FitzPatrick and his faithful dog, Jock.

'Jock of the Bushveld' is a book written by Percy FitzPatrick, a transport rider, about his adventures with Jock, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. It takes place in the Lowveld during the time of the gold rush in the 1880's and is well worthwhile reading.

This way-marker is along the first climb out of Sabie en route to Delagoa Bay (present day Maputo).

There are a lot of muggles living nearby who maybe watching you. Please exercise extreme stealth!
