[IT]È un monastero domenicano di cui si conosce la prima costruzione nel 1500, ma i lavori continuarono fino all’inizio dell’800 con diverse opere di ampliamento. Inizialmente erano presenti due chiese, una riservata alle monache di clausura e una pubblica, e un campanile, abbattuto da un fulmine alla fine dell’800.
Nell’800, pur rimanendo una piccola sezione destinata ai dormitori delle monache Clarisse e ad una chiesetta, il resto del terreno fu adibito alla coltivazione e, negli anni successivi, furono ospitate anche le scuole, la caserma dei Reali Carabinieri, un deposito‐essicatoio per bozzoli della ditta Paganini e la Pesa pubblica. Inoltre l’area ospitò una piazza d’armi per uso del Distaccamento Militare di Cavalleria e, in occasione delle feste del Giorgione fu allestito il tiro a segno provinciale.
Nel 1900 l’edificio fu adibito a Collegio-Convitto Spessa, Orfanotrofio e Casa di Ricovero che permase fino agli anni Ottanta. Dal 2011 è all'asta.
