#1 Råmosegård

Råmosegård blev opført i 1880 som fattiggård med plads til 80 fattiglemmer. Efter nogle års forhandlinger blev det i 1902 godkendt, at ”anstalten” kunne blive plejehjem for uhelbredeligt sindssyge kvinder. I starten var der plads til 40 kvinder og senere i 1984 blev plejehjemmet udvidet til 113 pladser.

Plejehjemmet blev senere underlagt Psykiatrisk Hospital i Århus. Efter en årrække, hvor plejehjemmet havde været under afvikling og gradvist fik beboerne ud i andre boformer, blev det lukket i 1995.

Raamosegaard was built in 1880 as a poorhouse for 80 paupers. After some years of negotiations, it was in 1902 approved the "asylum" could be nursing home for incurably insane women. In the beginning there was room for 40 women and later in 1984 the nursing home was expanded to 113 people.

The nursing home was later subject to the Psychiatric Hospital in Aarhus. After years in which the nursing home had been in liquidation and the residents was gradually moved into other accommodation facilities, it was closed in 1995.
