A stroll around Spanner Alley we used to play, seek and collect golf balls as treasure we had many bases along this route, the walk to the cache goes past the school playing field, looking out over Coventry lane and Trowell.
are lots of really good spots for a cache along this route, care was taken to be away from school playing field and out of view of houses,
Spanner Alley had great trees to climb and easy access to the Golf course to retrieve lost balls, we had a stash of them in one of our tree bases.
Much Spannering and fun was had !
Avoid before and after school times as the route is popular with children.
This route leads to Bramcote Park where the woodland trail is a really good series.
