The is Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery, one of the newer cemeteries in Louisville, established in 1986.
On the way into the cemetery and to the first stage, you will pass a gravestone that the caretakers at Green Meadows Memorial were keen to point out. This stone is one of the larger ones in the cemetery. It marks the final resting place of two Louisvillians with boxing ties and may be of interest to some.
The coordinates listed bring you to the final resting place of a friend of mine, Frank Jackson, Jr. I met Frank near the end of his life and had the privilege of being with him to the end. Frank was a fun loving jokester, always up for a game of cards, and even while in the pains of the end of life, he always had a smile to offer you.
Make note of of the number of letters in Frank's nickname. Add 3 to that number. This is A.
The second stage will take you to the resting place of Joseph "Joie" Reynolds Ray, Jr., of Louisville. Joie was the first African American licensed by the American Automobile Association, after competing in the all black racing circuit until the 1950s. He mainly drove open-wheel, midget racers, sprint and stock cars, never racing officially in a NASCAR event. His career began in 1947 and continued until 1963.
There is a gravestone that can be seen behind Joie's *unmarked* resting place. How many letters are on the back of that gravestone? Add 4 to that number. This is B.

The third stage will introduce you to Jimmy Ellis. Ellis was an amatuer then professional boxer from Louisville, training and sparring along with Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay). He became the World Boxing Association's World Heavyweight Champion in 1968, after Ali was stripped of the championship, and held the title until 1970, loosing the belt to Joe Frazier. Ellis retired from boxing in 1975 with 40 wins including 24 knockouts, 12 losses, and 1 draw. He went on to become a boxing trainer. He was inducted into the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989 and the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 2004.
On the bottom of the gravestone is a date. Take the last two digits of the year and add 35. This is CD.
The final is found at N 38 11.ABA W 085 50.ACD. Checksum of A + B + CD = 108.
The final is located at the edge of the cemetery and contains a log only. Please bring your own writing utensil.
The hours for Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery are 9 am - 5 pm. This cache is not recommended at night, although the final location is accessible after cemetery hours. Please be mindful and respectful of others who may have business here that is certainly more important than yours.
