This cache was a great way for my family and myself to share the natural beauty of this park with the rest of the world and allowed us to build a great memory to share between us and know that we have contributed to the wonderful world of geocaching.
This experience will lead you on a portion of the park that has been closed to the public for 15 years. The Nature Trail was created in December of 2015 and has been in use ever since January 1, 2016. This is a flat area with no steep inclines or declines. It is in a Sandhills forest with tall pines and 60 year old oaks. The search for this cache will bring you to wooden bridge on the trail. The wooden bridge was part of the original Nature Trail located in this area of the park. Enjoy all that nature provides you on this journey.
