DESCRIBED BY THE GCHR GEOCACHIC SERVICE 2016. THIS STATION IS SITUATED IN CHARLES CITY COUNTY, VIRGINIA. TO REACH THE STATION FROM CHARLES CITY VISITOR CENTER, PROCEED EASTERLY ALONG THE VIRGINIA CAPITOL TRAIL, ENJOYING THE SCENERY. PERHAPS STOP AT THE FOOTBRIDGE AND CHUCK SOME ROCKS INTO COURTHOUSE CREEK OR LISTEN TO THE FROGS. ONCE YOU CONTINUE ON, PASS THE FARMERS KITCHEN, ENJOY THE WALK THROUGH THE WOODS AND PAST THE FIELDS. AFTER A LEISURELY 1.7 MILE WALK FROM THE CENTER, STOP IN AT THE CONVENIENCE STORE AND CHAT WITH THE PROPRIETORS OR OTHER LOCALS. BUT DON'T STOP THERE - YOU STILL HAVE OVER FIVE MILES TO GO TO GET TO THE STATION! THERE ARE OLD PLANTATIONS TO SEE, ROADSIDE MARKERS TO READ, AND BUTTERFLIES TO CATCH (OR JUST WATCH). KEEP MOVING. AFTER MILES OF WOODS AND MILES OF FIELDS, YOU'LL FIND YOURSELF IN A MORE WETLANDS LOOKING PART OF THE PATH. THE STATION IS 2 STEPS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE TRAIL, PERHAPS HIDDEN UNDER A SMALL PIECE OF ASPHALT.
