This is my 6th hide, and is located near a small car park overlooking the beaufitul Bamburgh Beach. From the cache location, there are stunning views of not only Bamburgh Castle, but the Farne Islands, including Grace Darling's lighthouse, as well as Holy Island and Lindisfarne castle in the distance- making this one of the only spots where you can see two castles in one view. This area makes a fantastic day out, and is ideal for walking and playing on the beach, as well is visiting the village of Bamburgh and it's historic castle.
The cache is in a disguised container, and contains a log and a 1p piece for FTF. Please bring your own pen/pencil. The path to the cache is sloping and sandy, so it would not be ideal for cachers with wheelchairs or buggies. Could no photos of the container be included in logs please, so as not to spoil the experience for future cachers.
