A slim hide at the trailhead.
Welcome to Coldbrook Preserve. A Saratoga Plan property donated by a local family to help preserve the Blanding Turtle and other wildlife in the local wetlands. From the trailhead, the marked Yellow trail goes straight back along what used to be completely wooded but recently is now bordered by a deforested clear cut area. After you pass the open area on the right, the trail turns right in the woods and edges along the wetlands with some benches in a couple overlooks. The trail then crosses a wooden bridge to a loop trail the has blue markings to the right and red markings to the left. There are several more caches along all three marked trails so enjoy your visit and this nice preserve.
