Geocache Description:


Ideas for cache series can spring up from anywhere. This series first came to mind when reading the local newspaper recently and seeing all the focus of the new mural in Lansdowne, promoting all things good about our town, Bournemouth. This series holds a strong connection with me as I appreciate the art on display, having studied art for 6 years of my younger life, together for my love of all things Bournemouth!

The cache containers in this series are varied, however there is nothing bigger than a film canister, therefore no TB’s, coins or swag can be left behind. The nature of this series results in the caches being placed mainly at urban locations, so please carry out your search with stealth. I hope you find the murals interesting and would love to read your feedback in your logs.

The Smugglers Wain




This mural depicts the community of Kinson through the years. It was created when Kinson Hub was built in 2010. The artist spent months working with community groups on the project, which uses a blend of old photographs and modern techniques to represent the people and history of the village.
