Please join us for the sixth semi-annual "Annapolis Valley Geocachers C.I.T.O" Event.
We have adopted this highway interchange and have agreed do do a clean up twice a year. This event is open to participants 16 years of age or older and dogs may not attend.
The department of highways is providing all of the necessary equipment for clean up (bags, gloves, safety vests) and will come to collect the garbage.
There will be opportunities to win cash prizes for photos of the most unusual litter discovered. The posted coordinates are a great parking spot and there is additional parking across the street. Also, Groundspeak has announced that a special icon has been developed for this special C.I.T.O. weekend.
This event originally took three hours to clean the off-ramp. Now it typically takes less than one hour. This is a true testament to the value of your efforts. Thank you!
