Geocache Description:

Cache is a very small lock’n’lock knee-high in a bent triple yellow birch tree (Betula alleghaniensis) a short distance off the Hedrick Camp Trail (USFS Tr.#165 ) just outside the Otter Creek Wilderness boundary and before the trail crosses Otter Creek. There’s a nice view of a cottongrass bog. Hedrick Camp Trail begins at the Condon Run Parking area. A map of the Otter Creek Wilderness and access points can be found at… http://www.thearmchairexplorer.com/west-virginia/otter-creek-wilderness. The cache has plenty of small trade items but BYOP ! Note: The USFS does NOT snowplow or maintain these USFS roads in winter!
