St. Anna in Ploj
Am Dorfrand von Kastelruth liegt auf einer Felsplatte zu Füßen des Schlerns die Kirche St. Anna auf Ploj. Es ist ein hochbarocker Bau aus dem 17. Jh. Die Ausstattung des Innern - Altarbild Joachim und Anna, Seitenstatuen: Johannes d. T. und Hieronymus - ist eine gute Arbeit aus dem 18. Jh. Die Kirche wurde vom Brixner Fürstbischof Kaspar Ignaz Künigl 1724 eingeweiht.

La capela ie stata cunsacreda l 24 agost dl 1724 dal vescul de Persenon Kaspar Ignaz Künigl.

Nel circondario di Castelrotto, inserita nel suggestivo scenario dello Sciliar, sopra un piano roccioso sorge la cappella di S. Anna di Ploi. E' una costruzione del tardo barocco nello stile della ditta bolzanina Delai, che nel XVII secolo eresse molti edifici sacri. L´arredamento interno, la pala d'altare raffigurante i santi Gioacchino ed Anna, le statue laterali di S. Giovanni Battista e S. Gerolamo, sono delle pregevoli opere del XVIII secolo. La chiesetta fu consacrata il 24 agosto 1724 dal principe-vescovo di Bressanone Kaspar Ignaz Künigl.
