Start Point (A) It has to be the statue of W.B. Yeats who is Sligo's favorite Poet and Noble Prize winner.He was born in Dublin but spent a lot of his childhood holidays in Sligo and this is reflected by content of his poems, such as the Lake Isle of Inishfree.
