Geocache Description:

The Chantries form part of the ridge of the North Downs, just to the South of Guildford. Chantry Wood is 78 hectares of mixed woodland and an Area of High Ecological Value within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in striking distance of Guildford Town Centre. The Chantries are popular with walkers (and dogs) all year. Rabbits, deer, badgers and foxes live wild there. In April/May the wooded area is a mass of bluebells. The top of the hill has open fields with stunning views to the south.

Welcome to the Travel Bug Amnesty Cache!

Ever picked up a Travel Bug, and didn't declare it? Is it still sitting in your closet? Well, just drop it off in this Amnesty Cache, and I will grab it later, no questions asked! A great way for TB owner's to be re-united with their Travel Bug.

This cache isn't really in the Chantries, but it is so close to it it kind of counts as the Chantries. It is quite near the car park and is a simple 1 litre food container. It has got one travel bug in it to start off with, however i have forgotten it's TB number so i can't officially log it.

Please take photos of yourself with the cache.

There are a lot of cars which pass this area so try not to look to suspicious.
