I have placed a series of 26 caches, one for each letter of the alphabet, to pay tribute to some of the Greatest Rock Bands that have entertained us for years. I walked approx. 7 kms one way to place them. They are along old woods roads so the walking should be easy going most of the year. The trail is groomed in the winter for snowmobilers. Good hiking boots would be recommended. . Please make sure that all cache containers get closed properly to prevent damage to the contents.
Another great Canadian band that I have roccked out to on the stereo and in numerous concerts. Songs such as "Don't Get Mad Get Even", "Heavy Metal Love", "Rock You", "Gimme Gimme Good Lovin'", " (Make Me Do) Anything You Want", "The Kids Are All Shakin'", "Deep Cuts the Knife", and "Wild In the Streets" are a few of the bands greatest hits. Helix is a Canadian hard rock/heavy metal band. They formed in 1974, and are best known for their 1984 single "Rock You". Brian Vollmer has been the lead vocalist and force behind Helix since it’s inception in 1974 and continues to run the band today. The history of the band has been marked by many lineup changes, with Vollmer being the sole constant member and only remaining member of the original lineup.
