Things kick off with a morning check-in at the posted coordinates, the Long Beach Veteran's Field bandstand on Saturday, September 17 from 7:30 - 9:00 am. There, you'll check in and pick up your registration materials and Pirate Passports, sign the logbook, and grab a cup of joe before heading out for a fun-filled caching day looking for about 50 new geocaches hidden just in time for the event, capped off from 5:30 - 8:00 pm with a no-host buffet dinner, prizes and more at Event Central -- Chautauqua Lodge, located at N 46° 21.695 W 124° 03.500!
This year's event will include a special trackable geocoin that you can earn by completing at least one of the pages in your Pirate Passport booklet. In order to receive the booklet and collect your geocoin at the Saturday evening wrap-up dinner, you must pre-register at the website link below!
There will be so much to do that weekend, it won't fit on one geocaching page, so be sure to head to the official Cache Dash Splash website for all the details!
Be sure to log your "Will Attend" here before heading over to the Cache Dash Splash website -- you must pre-register there to help us get ready for the big day!
In addition to the Saturday event and activities, you'll also want to make it to a Friday evening pizza Meet 'n Greet, Pirate's Pizza (GC6CZ42) as well as an early-bird Sunday breakfast buffet, Hit The Road Breakfast! (GC6E695) and a CITO event, too! A CITO After The Splash (GC6Q2WW)
