Church Street, where the cache lies, ought to be called Churches Street as you have a choice of two at the end of the road. One is Holy Cross, the much-reduced remains of the former abbey and the other is St Andrews, now redundant and used as a parish centre. Both had their own parishes, splitting Pershore roughly in half for parochial purposes but sense has prevailed and they are now combined.
Nearby is Pershore Library which was refurbished a few years ago and is the epitome of what a small town library should be. Plenty of books, internet access, meeting rooms, newspapers, everything you need (except coffee and buns - a drawback for the energetic cacher). During opening hours you could even slip in to write up the cache in comfort).
There is free parking in Church Street although I've rarely found a space there. Otherwise car parks, short and long stay within the town and some free street parking..
You are looking for a magnetic micro so you will need a pen and probably some tweezers. The area is very exposed so an invisibility cloak would be useful. Otherwise the usual skills in inspecting street furniture in an unsuspicious manner will suffice.
Congratulations to Lucy Huish, FTF!!
