This is the site of the old mountain house @ north lake
This cache is located within the North Lake/South Lake campgrounds in Haines Falls NY. It is a state park run by DEC, dayuse is $5.00 for a car load or $1.00 if you walk in. There are two beaches and lots of restrooms.
the coordinates given lead to an inscription in a rock asking someone to marry them ...in order to claim credit for the cache EMAIL me the name of the person being asked. please do not post your answer, even if encrypted.
The walk is only about .25 miles from the parking area with an increase in elevation of about 80 feet -- the views are GREAT! you can see the land drop from 2250' were you are standing to sea level at the hudson river.
