Affane is a small townland in West Waterford, not far from Cappoquin and the River Blackwater. The ruins of Affane Church of Ireland church was built in 1819. The church and graveyard are situated close to the ruins of Affane House.
The church is set back from the road in it's own grounds. The graveyard is site to many interesting cut-stone grave markers and mausolea. The church though in ruins remains an important element of the architectural heritage of the area and forms a picturesque landmark. Cache is found outside the walls of the graveyard.
