Geocache Description:

A million dollar view of Lake Tahoe. A 2/3 of a mile hike with a 200 foot ascent. The cache is now in a Rubbermaid container thanks to TahoeSpike.

You will ascend Eagle Rock, a Half Dome-shaped outcropping that overlooks "the Jewel of the Sierras" -- Lake Tahoe.

There are two or three access points from Highway 89 and several ways to the top. If you find yourself huffing and puffing, cursing, and grumbling that this cache shouldn't be rated a 2/2.5, then you've taken the hard way.

Due to winter conditions, the cache will not be accessible during certain winter months.

This cache was placed on my wife's birthday and is named after her. It has a Lake Tahoe theme. If you take something, try to leave something that relates to Lake Tahoe.

Enjoy the view from the top. NOTE: If you have children with you, keep them close as the edges of Eagle Rock are sheer.

This is a pretty popular area for hikers. Unfortunately, some leave litter behind. Please, if you find some litter, please take it with you.
