Geocache Description:

Micro by a lake at Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve.

If I was an alligator,  this is where I would wait for you to do something silly like step off the trail to look for a teensy-weensy piece of paper in a tiny tube.  You are now tired from your long walk or run and you're easy Gator Bait!  It is a long jaunt on trails that go in multiple directions.  This is a side of the park that most people don't visit much. The sand is frequently soft and not much fun to bicycle on.  This lake used to be mostly empty and was a fun spot to ride motorcycles and off road vehicles.  Motorized vehicles have been outlawed here for years though.

It takes me about 4 miles to get out here on some trails, but only 2.26 miles on the most direct trails I know.  Will you pick a more efficient route?  Will you end up going much further?  I used to get lost out here on purpose and end up running great distances.  You must have the time and water for this to be fun, however.

I have not seen alligators here, but I have seen them less than 2 miles away.  I do see snakes frequently.

I'm increasing terrain to 4.5 because the area has been flooded for many months now and I think that is now the norm. There is no longer a dry trail to reach this thing.
