A cache hidden along the McCraney Creek path in Oakville. The idea was to place family friendly geocaches along the trail system so people and kids had an excuse to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. There are several entrances to the trail and street parking near most. I have waypointed one option.
You are looking for a camoflagued vitamin bottle. There is alot of Emerald Ash Borer damage in this area so the trees are being marked for removal or pruning. The geocache is hidden ground level in a location that I believe will be safe. (I hope I am right). If your GPS is bouncing around on you, the best option may be to find a place to sit and relax for a few minutes. When I was here sitting, the creek bed below was dry, maybe when you come it will be wet. Bring your own pen/pencil to sign the log sheet and after you do, get up and keep walking to the next geocache.
