This Teleport cache was set up to twin with my Brother's U.K. Teleport cache in Placerville, California, USA. I have been caching for a few years now and regularly come across trackables and move them on to local caches I visit. I asked my Brother if I sent him some in the post, could he drop them in a cache near where he lives ? He said OK, so every time I get 2 or 3, I have sent them to him. After they arrived and he dropped them in a few local caches, he sort of got the caching bug ! He now caches when he visits different places. So after a while he set up the teleport cache near where he lives, so US cachers can drop a TB in there and he will collect and wait until a few want to come to the UK.
So I have set up a USA Teleport near where I live. I drive past most days, so can watch for a TB to be dropped and pick up that day, or the next. Wait until I have a few in hand and then post out to my Brother, ( DiddyBvB ). There is a logbook to log finding it and once visited you will know where the Teleport is. Not loads of room, but big enough for a few trackables and swaps.
NOTE: If you want a trackable to go to the US, drop in the cache and write a note on the page saying you would like it to go to the US. Of course it can be used as a trackable hotel for use by UK based trackables. If my Brother sends me any US trackables, they will be dropped in this Teleport cache, unless there are a few in. Quickest turn around will be around 2 weeks and longest can be up to 2 months. I am sending 3 via airmail, but if it gets popular I may have to use surface mail. If you want to send trackables direct to my Brother, just message for his address ? He will drop them in his Teleport cache. I don't put insurance on any mail, so it is at your own risk. I think we all understand that when we own a trackable !
The cache is situated on what can be a busy road at times and is not that child cacher friendly. PLEASE TAKE CARE. There are houses and a church opposite, so some times it is busy with muggles. There is parking at the church IF the gates are open ? Plus at various points on the side of the road, but not so near. You can sit and watch the river Stour at GZ, so please try not to bring attention to yourselves.
The cache is a magnetic clip lock box. Can you return as found please.
