Geocache Description:

A series of caches placed around Rossendale Lancashire, they will all be named after famous Lancastrians close to my heart. The cache containers will usually be homemade, tweezers and a pen will still be required for most of them.

This cache is on Park Road Helmsore, although it's called a road I would recommend walking as its in terrible condition. Nick Park (again born in Preston) , famous for the creation of the Amazing Wallace and Gromit and Sean the Sheep. He first achieved recognition for his series creature comforts, then followed Wallace and Gromit , Chicken Run and Sean the Sheep. He has won 4 oscars and been nominated 6 times.  He has a special talent of creating lovable characters that appeal to all ages.
