Geocache Description:

During the New Zealand Flag Referendum in March 2016 several of these nicely crafted metal flags appeared around the south of the South Island.

The cache is a Berocca tube and was placed as we waited with bated breath.

And the winner is!

Unfortunately the flag has now gone, but as it is a pleasant viewpoint, we've left the cache in place.

Watch out for barbed wire nearby
