Take a walk on the less travelled trails at the Dungeness Spit. There are many ways to get to this cache: from the main road in, to the side trails from the picnic areas and campgrounds, to the main entrance to the actual beach trailhead. Most of the fun is deciding which way to go! Map signs are posted throughout the park.
Although I walk these trails almost daily, this particular area never fails to take my breath away: Literally, because it IS at the top of the hill, and Figurativeley, because it's just that beautiful! From the golden wetlands, to the Olypmic Mountains, and all the creatures in between that you might see, come outside and see the view.
