Aborn's Watch Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

miklor: Someone damaged the stone around another sign on the property. Coordinates would not have taken anyone to this location and yet someone pried the stones out of the wall and broke the stones. Most unnecessary and such destruction of property is not acceptable behaviour at any time and church property especially.

Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache to find with a little searching. Accessible for all ages as it is located on flat ground. This cache has been placed with permission from the church Rector and Wardens. BYOP The original container had to be replaced by something more weather proof so don't be led by pictures. :)

This cache is located around one of the old churches in Pembroke. This may be a little tricky to find and the log has been replaced with a new log book. BYOP

Rev. Thomas Aborn was the minister at Holy Trinity Anglican Church from 1914 until he retired from the ministry in 1927. The former rectory, Aborn House was named in memory of Rev. Aborn who died in 1937 in Ottawa. It was during his time in Pembroke that the new Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Renfrew Street was built and the dedication took place on January 17, 1926. Congrats to leaf720 who was the first to find this cache.
