This cache is to expose new people to the activity of geocaching - to teach what it is, how to do it, what you need and how to get started. There will be alot going on here, both for folks who have been caching a while and those who have never even heard of it. For the seasoned: The prize coins will be given out to the first 100 who completed the MoCoGeo Challenge and turn in their forms, ONE COIN PER GEOCACHING I.D., PLEASE. For the new: We will have a booth with information about GIS, GPS, map reading and a few example caches set up nearby to demonstrate. We hope this will be a great opportunity for people new to this activity to meet folks who have a few smiley faces. Come out and share your experiences, get a smiley face for being there and help spread the enthusiasm! The Tennessee Mountain Laurel Festival will be in full swing as should the laurel flowers so event attendees can expect to be treated to the scenic beauty of our area as well as well fed.
