Swimming is not a choice in Thailand- it's a must. This is Chaiya's nicest beach as the locals keep it fairly tidy- it is usually completely deserted but it is Thailand so no mankinis for the boys or topless bathing for the girls.
7 tires have been half buried in the sand next to the toilet block- for reasons unknown, however the middle tire makes a very nice hiding place for a small, clear, plastic round tub, you may have to look beneath the pine needles a little bit.
