Another in the Parks and Recreation Series by RoddyC.
Compared to other parks in this series, poor old Woodlands Park doesn't have much to offer. It is basically a very large easement to cater for the overflow of water during massive storm downpours.
However, green spaces are a great benefit to our environment. They filter pollutants and dust from the air, they provide shade and lower temperatures in urban areas, and they even reduce erosion of soil into our waterways.
And for those reasons alone, Woodlands Park deserves its place - and a cache!
Of the trees in this park, there were only a couple of suitable hiding spots: most were too close to houses for comfort (mine, anyway). So look for your most obvious spot!
