Nords Wharf was founded in 1901, and a year later, came a school. The school is still located in the quiet town today, on Marine Parade. North of Nords Wharf was a little town, named Cams Wharf. It was smaller than Nords Wharf. In the early days, there was a Chinese Gardens located somewhere through-out the little town. Nords Wharf has a general store, located next to the school. The store opened in January, 1916. It still is open today! You get spectacular views of Lake Maquarie, in the town.
This Geocache is named "Bring Your MTB" (MTB stands for M.oun -- T.ain -- .B.ike) because of the MTB trails through-out the town.
