Geocache Description:

This geocache is located in the vicinity of the USS Orleck Naval Museum, with the ship docked at the Calcasieu River. You do not need to enter the ship or to reach the river bank to retrieve this cache. Access is available during normal operating hours, absent special events. Watch out for critters. Long pants recommended.

Parking lot / operating hours, absent special events, are Monday through Friday, 10:00 to 3:00 CT and Saturdays, 10:00 to 4:00 CT. We've included a FTF tracker, a travel bug, a few trinkets, and a logbook. Please bring a pen for the logbook until further notice. Happy caching!
