The HWH - Hail Weston Hike is a walk of approximately 9 miles and should take around 4.5 hours to complete. There are 41 caches plus a few existing caches close by. There are no cattle on route, the first couple of crop fields may be muddy otherwise the going was reasonably good under foot, please take care crossing any roads, the only busy ones i encountered were around Hail Weston village at the start and finish, the verge was nice and wide.
There are a couple of gaps due to either housing or farms and the footpath just after Upper Staploe not as clear as it could be. The route includes a couple of Little Bridge caches and a milestone.
Parking is available at a number of locations in Hail Weston High Street near the Fine Pair cache.
