This Event Cache is in conjunction with Florence Events Centers 20th anniversary Celebration, Dancing with Sea Lions! We have a colony of 20, 7 1/2’ sea lions for you to find, stretching from Reedsport to Newport.
Porter the Sea Lion invites you to join our Event Cache Splash Off on May 14th. 2016 at 8:00 am. We will have coffee and something sweet ready for you! Our Splash off location is at the Florence Events Center. The first 25 people to signup at FEC will receive a DwSL refrigerator magnet.
There will be a chance to win some amazing prizes from our generous merchants, plus theme oriented geocaches. For an extra chance to win these amazing prizes, bring an item which will be added to the raffle collection. Raffle will be held at 4:00 pm (Must be present to win.)

Below is Porter the sea lion in her rough factory coat, but for this Event Cache you will be looking for Porter in her new artistically decorated coat. This Event will be a quest to find Porter the Sea Lion with some new caches as a part of the fun. Team work could be helpful, but not required. Don’t forget your camera, we would love to see you with Porter!
How to claim your DwSL Geocoin:
- Complete the Porterport. Details will be listed on the Porterport. You must complete the Porterport to receive a geocoin (while supplies last).
- On day of Splash off event (May 14th) bring your completed Porterport to Florence Events Center before 5:00 pm. After event, bring to Sea Lion Cave (91560 US-101 9 am-4 pm).
- Receive trackable geocoin (while supplies last).
