Around About Armidale Traditional Cache

This cache has been placed near to a main entrance to the city, so take some time out of the trip to turn East on the nearby roundabout to visit Armidale and the rich Geocaching offered. There is ample room to park your vehicle close to GZ. Please make sure you park at the very northern end of the rest area, well out of the way of trucks and vehicle inspectors.

Armidale is a picturesque town in the New England District of the Northern Tablelands region, and is the highest City in NSW. Armidale is home to the University of New England, the highest university in Australia. Armidale features many sporting and social clubs, the New England Regional Art Museum. Armidale is the home of the New England Wool Expo and hosts many scholarly conventions. Armidale features some lovely picnic places, coffee shops, motels and heritage buildings everywhere. Stop in for a visit!
