Leżeli tu żołnierze Wehrmachtu z obozu Lager Mielec. W lesie spoczywał komendant SS Otto Engelbert, na którym wyrok wykonał mielecki partyzant, żołnierz wyklęty Wojciech Lis. W lutym 2016 roku pojawiła się ekipa niemieckiej Fundacji Pamięć. Zabrali szczątki 49 ciał. Skrytka poświęcona jest tym, o których świat zapomniał. Spoczywali tu dwaj Francuzi zmarli w niemieckim obozie pracy i jeden, którego Niemcy zastrzelili podczas ucieczki z lagru. To dla nich ten kesz. Cześć ich pamięci! Skrytka, to mikro ukryte w dużo większym maskowaniu. Proszę zachowaj szacunek dla miejsca i maskowania. Nie szukaj na ziemi, która kryła zmarłych.

Dans la fôret reposait le commandant SS Otto Engelbert sur lequel Wojciech Lis, partisan de Mielec, a executé le jugement. En février 2016 l’équipe de la fondation allemande “Mémoire” est arrivée et a enlevé les restes de 49 (quarante-neuf) cadavres. Pourtant la cachette est consacrée à ceux que tout le monde a oubliés. Ici reposaient les deux Français étant morts dans le camp allemand du travail et l’un que les Allemands avaient tué d’un coup de feu pendant la fuite de Lagier. Ce cache est en l’honneur d’eux. Garde du respect pour ce lieu. Ne cherche pas sur la terre qui couvrait les morts.

Here lied Wehrmacht soldiers of Lager Mielec. In the forest was buried SS commanding officer Otto Engelbert who was executed by a guerrilla of Mielec, an excommunicated soldier Wojciech Lis. In February 2016 there appeared a german team of the Memory Foundation. They took the remains of 49 bodies. However, the stash commemorates those who have been forgotten. Here lied two Frenchmen died in a german labour camp and one whom the Germans shot while he was trying to escape from a lager. This cache is for them. We salute their memory! The cache is micro in much bigger camouflage. Please, keep the respect for the place and the camouflage. Don’t look in the soil that covered the dead.
