A small cache hidden in the trees beside the bridge. The cache is named echo bridge due to the amazing echoes produced by the ducklings when walking along here recently
There is a small path behind an Oak tree that leads up to the main A381 bypass. Totnes is a market town and civil parish at the head of the estuary of the River Dart in Devon, England within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This bridge was built by the American infantry durring the world war 2 so that they could get their tanks to Slapton for Exercise Tiger or Operation Tiger, which was the code name for one in a series of large-scale rehearsals for the D-Day invasion of Normandy , which took place on Slapton Sands Beach in Devon
