Near the George Washington Park this cache is a short hike into a long forgotten overgrown orchard.
This cache is in an ammo box. Because of the surrounding mountains the gps had a difficult time. The latitude/longitude are the "best" coordinates that I could come up with after about a dozen readings. The hint below will help quite a bit if you need it. George Washington Park is used by reservation only, but the area where the cache is located is outside the park itself and can easily be accessed even if the park gate is closed. The Park is gorgeous and well shaded even at noon on a hot summers day. We set the cache up to hunt for as an activity during a family reunion. We hope that all can enjoy it.
