One Room School Series
CACHE: GPS was jumping during placement so I used another tool to pin it more accurately. Seek the hint if you're having difficulty. Be respectful of the neighboorhood and park out of their way. You can find this without actually leaving the asphalt. It's not in the fencerow because that's a live fence. If you've found my other ORS caches, you should know what to expect with this small camoed container. Snow might make it harder to find. No more hints, go look! Room for small things like coins.
HISTORY: I don't have any history on this school, or photos. A gentleman I spoke to in the mid-1990's said the school was located just east of the farmhouse on the edge of the older subdivision. The farm was called Pine Grove. He didn't know what became of the school. Map images included here for those interested. UPDATE: I was messaged that the old house on the corner of Burnside and Lawndale was the old schoolhouse. This is not verified, but I looked at it and I almost agree.
