Wellies/walking boots highly recommended at this time of year - pushchairs could be difficult unless you are prepared to spend a great deal of time carrying them! Dogs guaranteed to collect much mud!
Was most disappointed when the Essex Way was achieved so have decided to reinstate the start for all you 'mud chasers'. The Essex Way starts at Epping station and ends at Harwich lets hope other cachers take up some more of the middle. Currently cachable from Willingale to Great Walth
This part starts at Epping and continues onwards through Coopersale and the pleasant Gernon Bushes Nature Reserve and ends for us in Birching Coppice where you can find a little series named A Walk in the Woods then onwards to the North Weald Geo Ramble which we recently enjoyed.
